DWR Contract Launches New Showroom at Boston Design Center

DWR Contract (DWRC) has opened its first showroom in the United States. Located on the seventh floor of the Boston Design Center (BDC), the new space will provide commercial and hospitality clients in New England with direct access to the company’s extensive roster of modern furniture, lighting, and accessories. The showroom is the latest addition to the more than sixty companies within the BDC community.

Design Within Reach introduced DWRC in 2010 and has shown considerable growth since. The branch now has 14 sales representatives serving commercial and hospitality clients across the entire country.

Along with the large selection of on-site products, much of the furniture in the showroom is quick-ship and easy to sample. Brands such as Fritz Hansen, Loll Design, Muuto, Softline, Stellar Works, and Tacchini are featured. Exclusive DWR products will also be shown in the space. The layout displays furniture in situ for visiting architects, designers, and specifiers to consider, as well as rows of available chairs and stools lining the walls.

The showroom’s design is the result of DWR’s ongoing partnership with New York-based architecture firm DFA, while lighting design was developed with the assistance of Light Studio LA.
